BAFF Executive program offers that rare space to zoom out, realign, and act with intention.

Designed for BAFF alumni in leadership roles, this program connects you with experienced BAFF Board of Directors and a small peer group. Through interactive masterclass sessions and practical assignments, it fosters action-driven leadership and helps you turn ideas into real progress.

With over 200 alumni in leadership roles, you’ll expand your strategic network, connect with executive leaders and mentors, and open doors to fresh perspectives and new opportunities. Through diverse insights, practical feedback, and collaboration, you’ll challenge assumptions, refine ideas, and move forward towards your defined goal.

FALL SEASON
(October - December 2025)

3 Sessions · 2 Experts · Limited Seats

This season kicks off with two masterclasses led by BAFF Board Members Kim G. Davis and Andres Trink. Participants will be divided into two parallel groups that will move through the program simultaneously, creating space for richer interaction, shared accountability, and stronger peer-to-peer learning.

Group 1 – Topic: “Building a Resilient Company: Aligning Owners, Management, and Employees on Strategy” with Andres Trink

  • Session 1 – Masterclass: October 6, 17:00–18:30 (Baltic time)

  • Session 2 – Challenge & Refine: November | date based on group availability

Group 2 – Topic: “How to Get Investors for Your Organization: Mastering the Financing Decks” with Kim G. Davis

  • Session 1 – Masterclass: October 9, 17:00–18:30 (Baltic time)

  • Session 2 – Challenge & Refine: November | date based on group availability

  • Session 3 – Reflect & Impact: December | date based on group availability

Throughout the program, participants will complete personal assignments defined during the masterclass, applying new insights directly to their own leadership challenges.

Designed for small groups, the series is highly interactive—enabling participants to tackle real challenges, share perspectives, and build accountability in their leadership journey.

Get to know the BAFF Board of Directors and their expertise:

  • Kim G. Davis is a Founding Partner of Charlesbank Capital Partners, a private equity firm managing over $10 billion in assets. He co-founded the firm in July 1998 after serving as a Managing Director at its predecessor, Harvard Private Capital Group.

    Earlier in his career, Kim held senior roles at several leading firms, including General Partner at Kohlberg & Co., Partner at Weiss, Peck & Greer, and positions at General Motors and Dyson-Kissner-Moran.

    Kim holds a BA in History from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is an active Harvard alumnus, having served as Vice Chairman of the Harvard College Fund, co-chaired the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.

    Appointed in 1994 by President Clinton to the Baltic-American Enterprise Fund, Kim now serves on the board of its successor, the Baltic American Freedom Foundation. He is also a board member of Kinship Trust Company and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

  • Andres Trink brings over two decades of leadership experience across the financial, regulatory, and real estate sectors in the Nordic-Baltic region. His career includes roles as CEO in the real estateand construction industries, Head of Credit and Risk in banking, and Chief Financial Regulator.

    He has served on the boards of listed, regulated, and privately held companies. Currently, he is a member of the BAFF Board of Directors, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of a gas distribution and energy sales company in Poland, a Non-Executive Board Member of a pension and fund management company in Estonia, and a Board Member of a U.S.-based non-profit endowment.

    Andres holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Tallinn University of Technology, and is an alumnus of the INSEAD Advanced Management Program (Fontainebleau, France).

    Earlier in his career, Andres served as Country Managing Director of the Baltic-American Enterprise Fund. Prior to that, he worked at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including three years as an Economic Diplomat at the Estonian Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Throughout the program, the focus is on turning insight into action and staying accountable for it. In a small group of 4–6 peers, you’ll:

  • Explore new solutions through real-life scenarios and case studies

  • Apply what you learn with focused, practical tasks linked to your own goal or challenge

  • Reflect and improve by sharing outcomes, testing ideas, and holding each other accountable

You’ll walk away with traction on your goal and momentum to keep going.

  • Target groups invited to participate in this program are:

    ●       Executives and senior managers from the private, public, or nonprofit sectors;

    ●       Founders and co-founders across all sectors.

  • Small groups consisting of 4-6 people per topic will be formed.

    SELECTION CRITERA

    Selection is based on the clarity of participants’ motivation, including a well-defined goal or challenge, potential for meaningful impact, and alignment with the program’s purpose: to help shift the trajectory of their career or business.

    While prior involvement—such as serving as a mentor in the BAFF Alumni Mentorship Program or being an active member of the Alumni Club—is certainly valued, it is not a requirement. We warmly encourage alumni who may not have been active so far to apply—your strong motivation and alignment with the program’s goals are just as important and will be equally considered.

  • Spanning 3 months, the program includes three 1,5 hour group sessions, held once a month.
    Between sessions, participants work on a practical assignment aligned with their personal goal or challenge. Time spent on the assignment may vary based on the nature of the task and your preferred working style.

  • Groups are formed based on the topic and leadership experience to ensure relevant, focused discussions. Each topic will include 4-6 selected participants in leadership roles, at least one BAFF Board Director, and a host.

    The selected peers share similar objectives but represent diverse leadership levels, fields of expertise, and countries. We strive to maintain a balance between participants from the Baltics and those abroad to encourage a broad exchange of ideas.

  • We encourage you to focus on the one topic most relevant to you each season to maximize the value of your experience. Please select 1 topic in your application.
